Genuine question — are flyer drops still common in your suburb?

I remember seeing heaps of them years ago, but lately it feels like there are fewer around. Not sure if businesses have pulled back because everything’s going online, or if it’s just my area.

If you’ve worked in a business that’s used flyers before (or know someone who has), I’m curious about a few things:

1. How often were flyers done?

(1–2 times a year / 3–5 / 6–12 / 12+ / not used anymore)

2. What was the biggest hassle?

No Junk Mail? reliability? cost? finding someone to do the drops? something else?

3. Was there any tracking or proof of delivery, or did you just hope the person actually did it?
