Radio static after installing amp

Before putting in amp and sub the radio was clear with an aftermarket head unit, after putting in the amp the radio now has static you can still hear the radio station but not well. Any ideas what may have caused this? Was definitely a diy job so probably messed something up. Aux audio is clear apart from some alternator whine I did the ground properly as far as I know. Any ideas would be appreciated
