Is rock still mainstream?

My friend and I were talking about how rock songs flooded the hit radio stations back in the 2000s and into the 2010s. But we struggled to name the last popular band that the general public knows. I thought about how Tame Impala made their hit "The Less I know the Better", but then realized that song came out 10 years ago. Oh how time flies! I remember when I thought the Arctic Monkeys were a new band with a fresh sound, as "Do I Wanna Know?" flooded the airways. Are there any new rock bands that the general public would recognize?
