December Road Trip - Midwest & Eastern NPs worth it?

TRIP PLANNING

ChatGPT came up with the below route:

TX -> Gateway Arch -> Indiana Dunes -> Cuyahoga Valley -> New River Gorge -> Shenandoah -> Smoky Mountains -> SC

Is this a trip worth doing since it will be winter? For added detail, going from TX to SC for Christmas and have a week to explore some NPs "on the way". Don't mind the cold and will try to use my overlanding setup as much as I can, but understand that is not always possible.

Also, not worried about maximizing time at each, really more of a scouting trip to see which will be worth going back to (assuming Gateway Arch is a 1 and done LOL).
