Micropet multiples

Let me start by saying I LOVE the micropet gifting feature. It’s so fun. I received my first micropet from a birb friend. I already had the same exact variety already. When I went to re-gift, I was unable to see which I was gifting — my Subwoofer or the gifted Subwoofer. I apparently gifted mine, which had more adventure progress than the one I was (generously) gifted. Is there a little way to indicate (a star or present maybe?) which micropet is the GIFTED one?
