Ellison Cool Springs - Things To Know
Hi y’all,
I just moved into The Ellison about a week ago, so I figured I’d share some info for anyone considering moving here.
1) Move-In Specials
Right now they’re advertising: “Save over $8,000 in Free Rent + more limited-time perks.”
In reality, this works out to two months of free rent.
As of Dec 1, they also added an extra $1,250 for moving in before the end of the year. If you qualify for their preferred employer program, that’s another $750 off — so for a 1-bedroom, the total discount ends up being close to three months’ worth of rent. This wasn’t available in November, so it looks like a new push to fill units.
2) Amenities (as of Dec 2, 2025)
None of the amenities are finished yet.
No gym, no pool, no podcast studio, no grab-and-go market, no coffee bar — literally nothing is open at the moment.
They’ve said some amenities should be done in January, but… we’ll see. They also mentioned offering gym memberships to current tenants while construction continues, but I haven’t received any details or follow-up.
3) Construction
There are three buildings total — two parallel residential buildings and a third “main” building where all the amenities are supposed to be.
The third building is still very much an active construction site. Leasing will tell you it’s move-in ready, but it’s definitely not fully finished. Expect noise during the day, workers around the property, blocked-off walkways, etc.
That said, people are moving into the third building, so some units must be complete.
4) Actual Apartment Quality
This is the part I’ve been pleasantly surprised by.
Inside the units, everything is brand new and pretty nice. All appliances are Samsung, and so far I haven’t had any issues with build quality or maintenance. The keyless door entry with keypad is convenient. The walls seem fairly thick — I haven’t heard much noise, though I’m not sure if I have neighbours yet.
The leasing office has been responsive and easy to work with, so no concerns there.
Overall Impression
I’m pretty satisfied with the move so far. It’s definitely a bummer that none of the amenities are done yet, but I’m hoping they offer some sort of perks or compensation to current residents until everything is completed.
If you have any questions about the place, feel free to ask!
