Need simple shirts.

Anyone have advice on Simple 2xl shirts with shorter sleeves? I feel like 2xl is all over the place with sizing and length. I got a trip to Japan in a couple weeks and I just wanted some new mono colored shirts to take. The Carhart loose 2xl is way too big and the relaxed feels a little long. Any recommendations?
