TL;DR: If your commute involves the I-15/Frank Sinatra exit near Mandalay Bay, take an alternate route until at least 8:00 a.m.

The AWS re:Invent 5K is happening this morning (Wednesday, December 3rd), which means you need to plan your route accordingly.

Traffic Closure Details

• Location: The I-15 off-ramp to Frank Sinatra Drive (near Mandalay Bay) is CLOSED.
• Closure End Time: The closure is expected to last until around 8:00 a.m. this morning.
• Time: The 5K started early, around 6:00 a.m.

This run is a huge event for the AWS conference attendees (which runs until Friday, Dec 5), so expect a lot of foot traffic and congestion in the Mandalay Bay/Luxor area even after the official ramp closure ends.
