Is portable washing machine a scam?

I moved to a 1rk in Sanjay Nagar. It's a unfurnished setup. Washing clothes is a nightmare for me. Taught of buying a portable washing machine. But then the reviews are soobad. It has got no return policy. I might need it for 6months? Probably, idk. Should I go for some rental apps instead?,
