Could a F-22 operate and thrive in Ukraine?
I've been pondering the lack of f-22 combat for its time. And was wondering if it could actually do stuff in the Ukraine war. From what I understand about how aircraft operate in the war, ground air defense is so thick, they only fly up to the combat zone and launch long range munitions. The only aircraft that nears the front is the Russian's close air support aircraft. They won't rist their nice fighters over Ukraine.
Would F-22 be able to change that? Could the US create a no fly zone or maybe even operate well inside Russia?
