Seeking suggestion

I recently got an invitation under CEC and planning to submit documents for the same. I have foreign work experience of 1 year which my counsellor said is okay if I do not mention while applying for my study permit and while applying for my PGWP I mentioned. Any idea if it could lead to any problem while submitting my documents for PR. I do have employment letter and proof of income.
