Does anyone know turbonegro?

I'm at a loss for words right now with the name- My mom just gave me a patch she bought like a year ago of the band and I thought it was a racist joke because she's white and km mixed(black and white) but I looked it up and it's a band. All the members look white, are they racist or are they good and worth checking out??
