Provider charged $800 for research done
My brother’s NDIS provider charged $800 ish for research done over the weekend for him without telling us.
The owner of the agency had a bit of an attitude towards my mum we she asked on the phone what that $800 was for, he kept dismissing why she’s asking and said “do you always keep track like this?” and just talking to her as if she’s stupid or a child, being passive aggressive and talking loudly. my mum gets text messages from my brothers plan manager to approve these things.
He is not a nice person in general and had a go at my mum when she simply asked if they could reschedule the cleaner coming in for my brother and said she’s not a cleaner she’s a support worker and not to call her a cleaner, the girl that comes in is not even a support worker, she’s studies dentistry. cleaner is not an insult to my mother, that’s what the girl that comes in does…cleans then trauma dumps about her family to my mother (my mum is more of a support worker to the cleaner).
The same guy also offered to use my brother’s plan for my uncle whose application is in progress, my mother said no because it’s for her son. He’s told my mum in the past that my brother should make use of all his funding because next year they might not give the same amount and to just make use of it.
The cleaner, the owner of the agency, my brothers actual support worker, and the receptionist who is the wife of my brothers support worker are from the same country or related and idk if they’re doing this to support each other and don’t have my brothers best interest in mind.
