Secret Santa for older woman

My secret Santa is an older woman who I have not worked with for very long and don’t know very well. She is maybe in her late 60s/ early 70s. Obviously I know people here don’t know her or what she likes but I’d love to get opinions on my ideas for her or any suggestions would be appreciated.

My budget is $30. I knit and have thought about making her a hat as it is very cold where we work. I have also thought that a new mug and some hot chocolate would be nice (but I worry just because I like those sort of things someone else might not)

I have also considered baking her something from my home country to go along with the hat.

The only thing I really know about her is she likes to eat Chez mix but I don’t think that’s a very good gift.

Any opinions on these ideas or other ideas for gifts are much appreciated.
