Australian views on muslim woman veiling themselves (niqab)

So I was wondering what are the Australian views (especially in Perth) on muslim woman wearing a niqaab and like roaming around in the city. Is it socially acceptable in a culture and a city like Perth and have you seen any people like that these days?
