*She had arrived at the training track by herself not too long after her date with Shahryar. It had been the first time she had been on the track in forever. While she wasn't able to run in the Arima Kinen, she still wanted to test something: her ability to run. While she had been cleared her heart condition, she was unsure if she could really run in her prime again.*

*So she took to the track and got in her starting position. The feeling was almost nostalgic. Right before she'd start her run, she imagines two opponents. It'd be someone who she had ran against before: Contrail and Gran Alegria, the two umas she defeated at the Tenno Sho Autumn. And so she'd test herself running at 2000 meters.*

*Breathes* Let's see if I still got it.

*She starts her run, imagining that Contrail was running behind her and Gran Alegria in front almost as if it were a mock race. Because if there was one thing she solely tried to counter during her prime, it was late surgers. And that would be thanks to Shahryar.*

*Her pace was about the same as her Tenno Sho Autumn run and she'd keep it for the majority of the distance. She noticed that at no point did her chest feel like it was going to collapse. That confirmed she at least was able to run proper now.*

*But what about the Homestretch? She was known for having quite the powerful final spurt, but would her body be able to handle it? There was only one way to find out. She'd start final spurt and... she was completely fine. It was a relief.*

*She'd perform her monstrous final spurt in the same way had done for the Tenno Sho Autumn and passed the imaginary Gran Alegria while leaving the imaginary Contrail in the dust. Another wave of nostalgia would hit her as she ran.*

*And so she finished. She felt reassured. Her ability to run was finally back. And so she'd take a rest on the sidelines. Smiling as she looked back towards the track.*

Well shit *Breathes* looks like I'm back. *Phone buzzes in her bag nearby* Eh? Who's messaging me right now?
