Recs for whole house humidifier installation?

I've had my house for a few years now, it's now become unbearably dry in the winter months. I've been doing some research into having my disconnected whole house humidifier wired into my furnace. Does anyone have some recommendations? Or is this a DIY?

It seems that when the house was built they had the whole house humidifier installed, but it was never connected to the furnace.
