I woke up today wishing sex wasn’t even a pleasure act. Just needed to vent.
I don’t know if it’s just me, my work, or the kind of stories I keep hearing every day… but I’m truly sick of seeing how people weaponize sex. It’s become this tool for control, manipulation, ego, and power. And we’ve normalized it like it’s nothing.
People manipulate someone within weeks sometimes days just for sex, get what they want, and then disappear like nothing ever happened. No accountability. No guilt. No sense of the emotional destruction they leave behind.
Sorry to say, but I’ve heard enough abortion stories to last several lifetimes. More than most people can imagine. And every time, it feels like the same pattern: someone gets used, someone gets hurt, and then they’re left alone to deal with consequences that shouldn’t be theirs to carry.
Call me someone who “can’t accept change,” or old-fashioned, Old-schooled, Cringe or whatever label fits. I am everything. I’m just disgusted with how deeply sex is tied to emotional damage now.
If sex wasn’t a pleasure act if it was only for procreation half of these situations wouldn’t even exist. Less manipulation. Less cheating. Less trauma. Honestly, half of the suicides connected to heartbreak could have been avoided if sex wasn’t used as a weapon.
It’s a free world, alle… so what? Just because something is normalized doesn’t mean it’s healthy. Not everything deserves acceptance.
I’m just tired. Tired of hearing the same stories. Tired of watching people get broken because someone couldn’t treat intimacy with respect.
Sorry for the random rant if this triggered anything in anyone. Just needed to get it out.
