Coming back after a few months.

I'm coming back after a bit of time away and am wondering if there is anything specific to do after where I am. I just freed the wolf pups, got my adopted pup. I also already have the scribe/blacksmith already. Is there anything else I am missing or do I just wander the map, clear fog of war and kill stuff?
