Follow up to “The Looming Tower”

I just finished Lawrence Wright’s “The Looming Tower.” I found it be enlightening to someone who knows next to nothing about history in the Middle East.

I would love to read something that documents the aftermath and the lead up to Bin Laden’s death.

I’ve heard that the author’s follow up “The Terror Years” is just a collection of articles and I’m not interested in anything written by a Navy Seal.

Any recommendations?
