Overthinking about a quiet guy

He doesn’t talk a ton in class but seems confident and sure of himself. He’s also very secretively, like I don’t have a clue of what he does after school. He has good posture. He might be socially awkward because he doesn’t really make eye contact with me at least, I’d assume other people too. He’s very very handsome. I assumed at first he has a gf because he keeps to himself but I’ve been told that quiet and shy guys usually are single. I don’t know if he’s shy, he seems sure of himself. He also laughs at himself when he makes a mistake. He’s usually always alone, at lunch and stuff too. Recently I haven’t seen him at lunch so maybe he hangs out with friends now. He always has AirPods in. I don’t know I just can’t get a good read on him. At the end of the semester I plan to say he’s handsome as a compliment and wish him a good break but Idk. Whenever I need something in class I always call his name, so he knows of me, I just don’t know if he also knows my name. He always helps though (gives me paper, etc) so he seems nice. Conversations are minimal and rare. I’ve always heard if a guy wants to, he would. Same if a guy likes you, he would stare. He doesn’t seem to stare but he also sits in a spot he can’t look at me without being obvious
