Cutting into CMU for electrician box… inside the house.

A client of mine wants to install a light switch on the living room wall. The desired location of the switch is adjacent their patio door on an exterior wall, which is CMU. I need to carve out the block to accommodate a 1-gang box.

I’ve done something similar several times with a masonry bit and 4-1/2” angle grinder, but that’s always been outside the house where dust isn’t a concern. This time it’s inside the house with 16’ ceilings, lots of furniture, artwork, and right next to the kitchen.

Are there any “old school” ways of carving out space for this box without lots of dust?
