Career Questions

Hello, I currently a senior in high school and want to become a pharmacist as my dream job. I find many things very interesting about the chemistry and physiology of how drugs and other treatments work in the human body, but I also want a job with high pay and merit.

I have applied to many colleges in Florida for a BS Biochemistry major. Is this the correct course of action? I have asked the pharmacists at my job on their advice and seem to get a few conflicting answers, some say it is smart to do 4 years of a Bachelor's and then getting a PharmD, others say I should only do 2 years, enough to get the core classes done.

I would also like to ask about specific employers, like CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc. Are some places better to work at?
