I moved into The Ellison about a week ago and figured I’d share my experience so far in case anyone in the area is curious about the new complex.

1) Leasing & Move-In

The leasing team was easy to work with, and move-in itself went smoothly. They seem responsive and pretty helpful whenever I’ve had questions.

2) Amenities

Just a heads-up: the amenities aren’t open yet. That includes the gym, pool, podcast studio, coffee area, and grab-and-go market. They mentioned these should start opening in the near future, but for now everything is still under construction.

3) Construction

The property has three buildings total. Two are fully residential, and the third is the main amenities building. Some areas around the third building are still under construction, so expect workers, noise during the day, and the occasional blocked-off section. Some people are already living in that building though, so some parts must be finished.

4) The Apartment Itself

My unit has been great so far. Everything inside is brand new, with modern appliances and a keypad entry door. I haven’t run into any issues with the interior or maintenance. Sound-wise, I haven’t heard much from neighbours (although I’m not sure I have any right next to me yet).

Overall

Even with the unfinished amenities, I’ve been pretty happy with the place so far. Just wanted to share an honest first-week impression for anyone who’s seen the new construction and wondered what it’s like living here.
