Does TJ encourage romantic relationships or something?

I’m a new crew member about a week in and I’ve noticed my past few shifts that it seems like the crew dates each other a lot. I remember seeing in the handbook TJ’s guidelines on crew dating and found it a little funny but didn’t think much about it. I honestly did not know much about the store before applying, just have always enjoyed shopping there and heard great things about pay/benefits. So it may be a silly question to ask but do they encourage dating here or something?🤣 I over heard 2 crew members talking my last closing shift about coworkers they have been romantically involved with and found it surprising lol. Personally I’m just here for a paycheck and don’t want any part of that, especially since I’m in a happy long term relationship! But I wanna know is this the norm for other stores? Should I be prepared to hear about dating drama at my store?
