Have an idea for a world for a Dnd campaign, and would like some advice
So basically, the idea is that it’s themed after Feudal Japan and Japanese mythology. I’m envisioning it to be a sort of war-torn, grim-dark setting with Yokai and other folklore involved. Think the Sengoku era, just with magic and mosnsters.
The first roadblock I’m running into is where I would like for the setting to literally be Japan with Yokai (like the Nioh series of video games), or have it be a fictional continent that just so happens to have culture that mirror’s real-life Japan.
