Half Life 3 might happen this year. heres what i got!

HALF LIFE 3 

TL;DR All signs point to a new Half-Life game: 

• Valve has been unusually active—anniversary updates, documentaries, and Alyx’s ending change. 
• Multiple reputable insiders are reporting on a project called “HLX.” 
• New Valve hardware contains subtle Half-Life references. 
• Valve’s recent behavior (playtesting, actor hints, security) suggests something big is coming.  Nothing is 100% confirmed, but this is the strongest evidence in years that Half-Life 3 could be announced soon.

Notes: Half life 3 is NOT 100% happening until valve announces it and the insiders are not always 100% reliable and correct but we should still trust them but understand they can be wrong. HLX is a half life game and its very likely to be half life 3. Gordon Freeman is in HLX. Its 100% time to get hyped BUT not super duper overhyped. Healthy amounts of hopium. Part 1: Valve cares. 

Valve clearly cares about half life 3 now. They did not let the half life 3 domain expire and they celebrated half life 1s 25^(th) anniversary fixing some problems and giving it some maintenance. They also made a documentary video too about it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbZ3HzvFEto. They also celebrated half life 2s 20^(th) anniversary fixing problems and giving it some maintenance. They also made a documentary for it too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCjNT9qGjh4. But the very peculiar thing is that they also mashed the episodes and the lost coast demo into it to so now you don't have to get them separately. And gave it a steam workshop which is very crazy. The interesting thing though is the fact that they chose to give the most updates to half life 2 plus the episodes which are the most recent games besides half life Alyx. And half life Alyx. this is the biggest piece to this puzzle. They could have made it a demo or used another game series but no they choose half life. The fact that they made half life Alyx is the biggest part of this. Half life Alyx is a prequel to half life but its more than just a prequel. SPOILER ALERT! Half life Alyx changes the half life 2 episode 2 ending reversing Elis death so now in the hangar its just Gordon and Eli. Theres now 2 Alyx's that are being held by the G Man in stasis. One is young 19 year old Alyx from half life Alyx. And the other is 24 year old Alyx from the half life 2 and episodes timeline. This is very crazy. The fact that they not only made a half life game, but FIXED half life 2 episode 2s ENDING. That CLEARLY shows they are now starting up the engine and warming it up. And also they are making 2 new raising the bar books very soon too. 

Part 2: The insiders 

The valve insiders Shpeshal_Nick, NateTheHate, Tom Henderson, Mike Straw, GabeFollower, and Tyler McVicker are working on the HLX stuff. The most well-known and main insiders on this are Tyler McVicker and Gabe Follower and mike straw a bit too. They all have different ideas on the announcement window but the one I believe is the best is a announcement this year but not at the game awards. I believe that a LIKELY announcement window is from December 1^(st) to December 15^(th.) It makes sense because they need to give themselves time to continue polishing the game after the announcement and its somewhat before there Christmas break time around mid December. It gives them time to watch the commotion. In Tyler Mcvickers HLX files series on his YouTube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL5RKbiAPqSC\_mUIjCpx3xg he shows pieces of code and other things in the videos. He said that the player plays as a person in a hev suit and has a crowbar And also showed a related icon with Gordon freeman on it so this is 100% a half life game. Reportedly HLX has been in development since around 2019 here’s a good video that talks about valves history https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHdrosltGJA  that means that they have been working on it for almost 5 years now roughly and that's around the amount of time it takes a AAA title to be made. Its tight but showing by other things its very likely that they are going to announce it soon. 

Part 3: The new hardware 

The new hardware that valve announced very recently is also a big sign here’s the video Steam Hardware Announcement - YouTube . This is a strong sign because valve loves to pair there new software with new hardware. Also it would make sense to have half life 3 go along with the steam machine. The steam machine is going to be over 500 dollars but pairing it with half life 3 with a discount or it pre installed for free on the machine would be fantastic. Either way a march release lines up. They need time after announcement to keep polishing the game. Another thing that makes me think this hardware is tied to half life 3 is the fact that there's a photo of its front panel and on the panel it says Fremont https://www.xda-developers.com/steam-machine-hint-half-life-3/ If you don't know this is a clear reference to marc Laidlaw's epistle 3. where he gender swapped the main character's. Valve also put hints in the hardware announcement video. They are wall art of the gman that can be seen in HL2’s documentary and possibly the HL1 one reflected in the new vr headset, since the steam machine is customizable in a shot you can see a panel with tons of stickers and there are a SOON sticker and a orange sticker covered by a censored sticker but a H can be seen poking out, in a persons steam game library you can see half life 2 and half life Alyx, the fact its 3 pieces of hardware is also very peculiar because its hard and expensive to make that much hardware and its the numba 3! Bro its confirmed! (Joking), and on valves steam page you used to be able to see there's 2 games that's going to go with the hardware but we could at the time only see one. Deadlock. Part 4: Valves recent behavior 

Valve has been up to something recently. They are clearly working on a half life game and are almost done. They reportedly are in the playtesting phase now and have heightened amounts of security at there headquarters. the gman and barney voice actor Mike Schapiro tweeted for the first time since half life Alyx came out and in the video https://x.com/mikeshapiroland/status/1874213952680607922?lang=en mentioned unexpected surprises in the new year hinting towards something. he only ever tweets to hint at something like big like half life Alyx. I believe that a game awards announcement is unlikely because the big valve insiders believe they want to announce it this year and either way it would overshadow the other games there completely making people unhappy and valve really would want things to go well because its half life 3. it is time to get ready half life fans! This is way more than we have ever seen before. Its not weak rumors or statements like “my dad works at valve! Its happening!" Its enough evidence for the big insiders Tyler McVicker and Gabefollower to believe in a announcement this year. and I agree with them. It makes sense. Get ready because I have a very good feeling about this. BUT! Always remember. Its not 100% happening until valve says so. But get ready! And don't overdose on hopium!

4: New hardware needing a amazing piece of hardware (its price is gonna be over 500 dollars. But if they where to pair it with a big release like half life 3, it would sell like crazy!)
