IUD Pain but placed correctly?

just a little rant and so many questions.

I got an IUD (Liletta) in June 2025. Throughout all of this, I have been in so much pain. I’ve been bleeding for multiple weeks, have abdominal pains, and have pelvic pain that shoots to my legs.

I went to my OBGYN complaining A LOT. I then had an ultrasound and confirmed I have PCOS and Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. There is also possible Endo. They confirmed my IUD is inserted correctly.

After 6 months, I can’t do it anymore. I’m getting it taken out in 2 weeks because, according to OB, “it’s not working well with your system.”

Im just kind of hopeless. Has anyone experienced this as well? I really want to know what the removal process is like. If anyone is reading this who has had a ring and implant, can I please get your experiences? I don’t love the idea of taking the pill, because I have a hard time remembering to take them even with apps.

I’m really scared of it getting removed because I threw up after insertion.
