Ryzen 9 3900x vs Ryzen 7 5800XT (CPU suggestion)

Hi all, i've been wanting to upgrade my Ryzen 9 3900x for a while now, i'm not able to upgrade to AM5 + DDR5 sadly.

Is there any upgrade anyone would recommend?

The X3D chips are priced around 400-500 euros here in the Netherlands, second hand you can maybe find them for 275-350.

Is the Ryzen 7 5800XT worth it?

Its around 190 euros brand new.

16GB of DDR4 3200mhz, MSI RTX 3060TI 8GB.

I play games like Arma and DayZ most of the times. (CPU intensive games.)
