If you are going through heartbreak, trauma, abusive relationships - hear me out

I am an 18 year old (girl) and I dated a boy the same age (18M). But honestly it didn't work out. And I was very much upset about it. But..some truths needs to be said out loud even when it hurts.

I know how badly relationships can affect you. I have been through it. It is extremely hard to let go of memories spent with the person you once loved, cared for and maybe would be willing to do anything for them. But the truth is u have let of go of them.

I'll tell u a simple truth, everything around you in your life isn't permanent at all. The loved ones around you, the people you care about, success, career, your own human body etc. Everything is temporary.

That's why I often say - learn to remain detached. Now now detachment isn't...being emotionless or to stop caring.

Detachment is the art of feeling all the emotions deeply. You can cry, scream, feel immense pain, happiness, sadness, frustration, bitterness everything. Every single emotion. But you remain wise enough not to drown in your emotions or even when a happy moment arises. Your emotions shouldn't affect your mind and decision making power.

You remain detached enough to know what's wise and act accordingly. You feel emotions but at the same time, your mind remains detached enough to know what's right and wrong and act accordingly. Everytime, your emotions get the best of you, bring your true self back and remind yourself that everything is temporary and that u need to act wise and figure out to sort the situation. And it makes the situation much better.

This is how you live fully. Problems will always come in your life, pain will never stop. It just changes it's shape until we learn to live with it.

when your happiness comes from within, nothing outside can break you. ♥️ May the goddess bless you my child.
