Help with buying cards as a gift

Hi all, I’ll make this quick: my partner specifically mentioned Yu-Gi-Oh Bonanza packs for Christmas and I want to know the best pick for him. I’m not sure if I should get multiple individual packs or the Tuck Box. I could get him 8 packs of cards for the same price as the box, but if the box is better I know he would appreciate quality over quantity. Any help would be awesome! Thanks ^,^
