I think we should focus on Mike being Vickie and Steve being Robin

Soo, we all know the parallels between Rovickie and byler right? And the contrast between them and El and Mikes relationship. You have probably also heard non bylers stating that Tammy is Mike and bylers stating that Tammy is Eleven. Well, even if I do believe in that I think we should be focusing more on Mike being Robins Vickie.

We all know the parallels between Rovickie and byler but I rarely see people focusing on the similarities specifically between Vickie and Mike.

When Vickie is introduced it is as a love interest for Robin. But then she sees Vickie with her boyfriend. Here it parallels perfectly with El, Mike and Will when they reunite with El in s 4.

But Vickie and her boyfriends relationship is not healthy and they break up. Robin didn't think she had a chance but they end up together.

Similarly does Mike have El which is why Will for a very long time doesn't see the chance.

Mike is in an unhealthy relationship with El (as far as we know) and that is why people don't see him ending up with Mike. Just like Steve don't see it happening first.

When others hear that El is Tammy they freak out. Cause they are in a relationship. I think it would be better to focus on the parallels between Vickie and Mike instead aswell as between Steve and Robin

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this and bring in more things that I can't remember right now :)
