The great Nannjing comeback

My god, was i lucky in this game. So i played the LKMT to test out the changes to coal. Started with an easy victory against the league, however Shandong has been puppeted by Zhili. I started to prepare for the Norther expedition, while the rest of the warlords choosed their sides. A strong federalist coalition under guanxi formed incorporating hunan and Sichuan, Yunnan going RKMT and Shanxi getting itself into an early war with Zhili.

When the federalist and Fengtiang attacked the zhili i decided to intervene to get myself some land. The 2nd Northern Expedition has been launched to great results. I managed to get the majority of the war score, getting myself all of Zhili holding apart Beijing itself. This decision came from the federalist allience bowing down to the Fengtiang dogs. I hoped that the majority of the army would take part in the victory parade, and without a port they would be locked there. This strategy proved exeptionaly succesfull as i managed to destroy around 40 divisions. Despite that, this only liberated a single army to help my outnumbered troops in the south. My future was bleak, as 1939 came and go, i knew it was only a matter of time before japan join as well. I just didnt had the industry to sustain it. And then japan joined the fengtian- nanjing war .... Against Fengtian. This triggered the formation of the United Front, and a peace deal with the Fengtian goverment. I survived by pure RNG.

Now after stoping the initial japanese attack, fully incorporating the zhili industry and slowly recapturing Manchuria, i am preparing for a round two against the now inferior fengtian warbands.
