Sddm kde lockscreeb black with underscore in top left corner. It seems to happen when i try to change the background using the kde plasma settings.

Hey everyone new to using straight arch ive used endeavour and cachyos off and on for a yearish.

Anyway I installed arch yesterday, pretty much everything is workinf fine got all the programs i need steam running well games running well etc

But then i tried to change the lock screen background thru the kde settings gui. And when I logged out to check it i got a black screen with an underscore in the top left corner.

I reinstalled but i still want to change my lockscreen. I can hit ctrl shift f3 to get to a guiless terminal so its not frozen.

I did a bunch of google but i couldnt find the exact same issue.

Anyone have any ideas. Sorry if this is well documented i searched reddit and google but none of the black screen at lock screen advice worked for me
