Expats/professionals who moved cities, what did you wish existed?

Quick question for anyone who has relocated for work or studies:

What was the hardest part of rebuilding your life professionally — was it the loneliness, the lack of connections, or feeling like your career slowed down because you didn’t know the right people yet?

I’m testing an early MVP focused on this problem, but I want to make sure I’m solving the real pain points, not just assumptions.

My questions to you: 1.When you moved to a new city, what did you wish existed to help you build your network faster? 2.What was the hardest part — personally or professionally — about integrating? 3.What would a platform need to offer for you to actually use it (or recommend it to your sibling, friend, or colleague who’s relocating)? 4.Do you feel existing tools (Facebook/Slack/Meetup/InterNations/etc.) meet these needs — or is something still missing?
