Is it actually possible to play as banks?

This is the best economic simulator ever made.

All I ever wanted to do was dictate trade and economies by being a powerful bank (weird fantasy of mine…ok. )

Please help me understand what it means to play as a bank in this (Bank of Bardi, etc.) and if it’s even worth diving into. I’ve tried to play as one already but I don’t understand how to become a “strong bank that prints a billion cash to lend out to other countries”.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be awesome. Also, how can we make currency completely fiat? 🤣
