Does Batman follow his code for someone he knows can’t die?

So I was just watching a video about the injustice games and it was stopping the video when somebody would die. I watched the Batman one for injustice two and it cut away when the bullets started getting fired. That may not be the best example but my question still stands. Does Batman do things that are not likely to kill somebody even if he knows the person he’s facing has no way of dying?
