Getting my wife to play a video game for the first time and it is GWR and I need help

My wife told me she is interested in trying a MMO type video game and I told her that GWR was coming on 12/3. She bought the game today and we set it up on my Steam Deck & TV for her. She likes the idea of playing an Elementalist.

I have not played GW1 in many years and need a little bit of help. What would be a good class for me to play that will help support her and have us be successful as a duo? I truly do not care what I play as long as she is happy. I just need to get her hooked!!

Do she have to pick up a secondary class? Can she stay just Elementalist?
