How to deal with death threats and police corruption.

Legal Advice Needed

We live in a partially joint family with my grandmother, uncle and aunt. My aunt is after our property and has brainwashed uncle into drinking and abusing us. It's usually just my uncle insulting my parents and grandmother. But recently on 19th oct, it deescalated when he broke down one of room's our walls and my father got into a fight where he was injured on his face. My grandmother is very lenient and more or less trying to solve everything peacefully, she also coddles my uncle as he's the young son. Which is the main reason why our situation has turned into what it has been.

A little bit of context before I continue— this has been going on for 7 years now. My aunt will intentionally get in an argument with my uncle and yell at him to get him riled up, he's unemployed fyi. He ends up drinking due to anger and somehow it is directed towards us. She usually does this whenever I have an upcoming exam because she wants me to be stressed and not be able to study so that I perform poorly. Which kind of works, because I end up not being able to give my 100%. Moreover, my grandmother is unable to take a stand against him and just asks us to endure it. We're a middle class family so moving out is quite difficult. We were once in a rental house for 2 years but had to come back because grandmother's health was deteriorating (she had to cook by herself on a clay stove because my aunt refused to feed her and my uncle would throw away her food if he saw her eating). She was also quite stubborn on not going with us, basically trying to emotionally blackmail us so as to keep enduring.

This continued harrasment has been taking toll on the mental healths of everyone in my family, including myself. My father's health also worsened due to the accumulation of stress. I myself have not been able to give a single exam in peace, including my 10th and 12th boards which is taking quite a toll on my academic career.

During Diwali, on oct 19, we had recently painted the walls of our house. Being jealous of our renovation, my aunt agitated uncle and he ended up breaking one of our walls. Things deescalated quickly as my father and him got into a fight. My father was attacked with a wooden plank with a protruding nail. The nail hit my father on the cheek and knocked him out. I called police and did everything to protect my father. My grandmother being useless as always stood there squirming unable to do anything. My mother was out at work. I was recording the confrontation because I was sick of them lying about their wrongdoings and wanted solid proof (my aunt would spread fake rumors around the neighbourhood, trying to gain sympathy of others while acting like she's the victim when in reality she's the mastermind).

My father had regained consciousness while I was busy confronting my uncle (he didn't hurt me, but I could see him looking around the garbage area for wine bottle so he could strike me down). After a while neighbours gathered, so he couldn't do anything. Soon police had arrived and they took custody of my uncle and took my father to the hospital, with me as his caretaker. After some primary care we arrived at home, my uncle was taken to the police station. Meanwhile, we were discussing what to do further. We wanted to file a case but my father thought this was a chance to finally get to settle the matter and have a wall erected between both houses. I, my father and grandmother arrived at the police station, and there we had to face the horror of corruption and favoritism. The police said they were going to listen to both parties, but didn't really give us a chance to speak. My aunty pulled out every fake story up from her ass. Like how we were somehow the ones abusing them, somehow we were the ones receiving all the benefits from our grandmother's pension (even though that unemployed pos takes half of her pension every month). Moreover she accused us of setting them up in this "sarayantra" to tarnish their image. Like seriously wtf?

Whenever I tried to refute or object, I was shot down by the police because I was "too young" or that I should "not get involved in adult matters". Is there an age requirement for speaking the truth and demanding justice? I was seriously devastated. The one authority that I always believed in was now shutting us up for demanding justice, for trying to speak the truth. In the end they somehow coerced us into signing a feeble piece of contract that assured us that he would be arrested if he made another mess again and that criminal returned scot free. Later we found out that one of the police officers was close with my aunt (almost looked like as if they were secret lovers).

After that we've constantly been enduring the same mentally exhausting barrage of insults 4-5 days a week. But the intensity has increased again and now they're giving us death threats. He yells openly, telling me to be ready to see the corpse of my parents having returned home after I go to college next year. No one does anything. No neighbour comes to our help. I call, message police, no replies, calls cut short. I am honestly at my wits end. Scared. Not for my life, but for my parents. They just want me to suffer, so they won't kill me. He says he is already in contact with killers and that within the next year both my parents will die in an "accident".

Things have become so severe that I have developed PTSD and anxiety disorder. Whenever I see my uncle or hear his voice, I start shaking uncontrollably and am on the verge of tears. Which is why I almost never go out of my room. I have taken a drop to prepare for college entrance, but honestly with how my environment is, it's not going well I can't focus at all. I'm confined in my own room, with earphones and music blasting on my ears all day. Trying to study. I have no idea what to do anymore.

Things got heated today as well and he's not letting us sleep in peace. As of writing this post, he's outside my room shouting unrepeatable slurs and openly giving death threats.

I am going to post this on multiple subs because I just want any help I can get as soon as possible.
