X7SBi Motherboard kinda boots, kinda doesn't

Recently picked up a X7SBi machine, floppy drive, CD-RW, 4gb of ram.

Yes, I know it's old af.. I bought it mainly for the chassis because it was cheap but still, I'd like to get it working at least once!

I can get it to post, but it won't boot to anything.
Reset the bios, it will get as far as detecting drives and then the screen goes blank.

Sometimes, when editing the BIOS, it will just freeze. Reset the bios and it boots fine again, usually letting me complete the settings changes.

Save/Exit/Reboot and yeah, gets as far as detecting drives then the screen goes blank.

Any ideas?
