i have a prediction-

carol is going to stage/fake her own death in order to prevent being joined.

-she will need to do it in a way that there are hive witnesses, and the body would be severely damaged or lost(a fire, or falling from a plane into the ocean or something)
-she will need to stay hidden afterwards, and have food and other supplies stockpiled
- it would be convinient to do in abq since it is stocked, yet abandoned by the hive
-she migh get the help of other uninfected. diabate would probably be. maousos may want to disappear with her.
- i dont expect it to be resolution at all, just a phase of the show
-i think the "and then there were none" book might be a clue/forshadowing to this idea

-a little seperate, but i wonder if carol killed someone in a drinking and driving accident
