Left wallet on plane, returned without cash

Posting just to show an experience.

Left my wallet in the seatback, only realized as I was exiting the airport. Submitted the list and found form and two days later it was reported as found.

At the pickup they pointed me to the large item area where I was told to follow an agent who left me to the same desk I originally went to. From there I was sent back to the large item area until someone told me to go to another lost and found area. There they took a picture of the receipt where it says found and brought out the wallet.

There I was asked for ID, I didn’t have any since it was in the wallet but the email said I was verified. Anyways they let me sign for it and I took it.

Had maybe $60-80 and it’s gone lol, all my cards are still here but I’ve requested new ones anyways.
