I suck at the wheel

:snoo_scream: Help! :snoo_scream:

I’m a senior in highschool and last year I took a ceramics 1 class and became absolutely obsessed with it. We did only handholding for the entire class and now I am in ceramics 2 and I have a personal studio in my garage. The thing is, I really have been trying to make something on the wheel and I keep breaking everything from either pulling the walls too thin or completely offcentering the clay when created the hole in the middle/pulling walls. I’m less so looking for advice on techniques because I’ve watched probably 1000 videos and have talked to my teacher a ton.

All of this is okay because I do understand the wheel is a very very hard thing to do and practicing is the best thing to do. But my troubles are that i’ve started losing motivation to use my personal studio for anything because I just think well it’s not like i’m gonna make anything. Again ik this is dumb but it’s a mental struggle im having and im wondering if anyone else has felt the same or similar and what I can do to fight against it and stay motivated because this is something I really love to do
