Cost Consultant - European Data Centres

Hi All,

Just a quick one to see if there is anyone that is in a similar situation to myself or has been in the past and can offer me any advice at all.

I currently live in the UK with my partner and 8 month old. I had previously accepted an offer to be a QS on a data centre nearly 2 years ago now but life got in the way and it never materialised. Now I am drawn back to the opportunity again as I have can see the availability of one week rotations (one week on site and one week from home).

Essentially, I’m looking to see if anyone has any similar experience and how they found it. For me personally, the opportunity is to better my career (make myself an expert in a niche industry) and at the end of the day make a bit more money to provide for my family.

To note I have discussed with my partner and she is open to the idea given the weekly rotation and the support we have at home with parents etc.
