Royal mail tracked 48

Hi, I had a parcel sent to me on the 2nd via tracked 48, the person sent me the tracking number but there have been no updates when I check the tracking,it just shows the same message

"Your item was posted at Parcelshop, a Royal Mail site on 02-12-2025. More information will be available as it travels through our network"

Is this normal? Every other tracking number I've ever been sent I have always been able to see it's updates.
