If parents are so miserable together why don’t they just get divorced

Don’t give me the bullshit ‘it’s better for the kids to stay together’. It’s not. If u mfs are angry with each other and shouting all the fucking time and lashing out to your kids then how is it better than just staying tf out of each others lives? I don’t get it. My mums excuse ‘our religion tells us to stay together’ so being miserable is part of ur religion?
