DRAM-less or DRAM SSD for video games. (Not a boot drive)
I'm looking at replacing an aging secondary HDD with a SSD and I was wondering if a DRAM-less SSD would be suitable for housing video games or do I need one with a DRAM cache?
It has to be SATA because I don't have any spare NVME/M.2 slots.
I would have just gone with a MX500 but those don't seem to be available anymore.
P.S.
Some SSDs that I've found for sale are:
WD Blue SA510 £80
Crucial BX500, £84
Samsung 870 EVO £110
