Best jumpshot for realistic stats?

I feel like in offline gameplay it’s either I make 70% from 3 or 20% depending on the jumpshot I use. When I use a lower rated base to balance things out then I’m just waiting to get open and coach doesn’t even use me bc it requires so much for me to get open, so I change to a better jumpshot base and then suddenly I’m making every open shot, which doesn’t feel realistic. It also feels like I either make every contested shot or miss every contested shot depending on the base I use. Nothing feels consistent
