is there a way to glitch tails partner in Sonic CD? (origins)

I really wanna play Sonic CD in origins with my cousin, it's one of my favorite games! and she kinda sucks at sonic...so we beated Sonic 1 with Sonic & tails, and then I thought to myself (wow there must be a way to play as them in Sonic CD as well!) and...nope... sadly there's no level select so I can't put Sonic & tails mode like on Sonic 1, is there a way I can Glitch tails in so we can play as both Sonic & tails? would be really helpful!
