I don’t know what to do( help)

Hi . So am a second year student and currently in a career program and I’ve been debating on whether to come back next semester or not. I’ve already paid the fees and said yes to the intercession so I can do a course. But this semester alone has killed my mental health and I feel like I don’t have anything left to give. The problem is if I do leave I’ll have to reapply and I don’t know if I would go back to the program am in or just pick like social science with psychology or something like that. I know if I did take a semester off and I reapplied to the program am in I would have added almost two years to my studies. Am already behind on my general studies. I know I’ll probably comeback to continue my education but I need opinions on what to do.
